Here's What's Coming Up:

The Paderewski Festival and the Back Roads Wineries of Paso Robles will jointly sponsor "A Toast to Paderewski" chamber music concert and wine tasting on Saturday, April 25th at 6 pm at the new Pear Valley Winery. The featured pianist will be Marek Zebrowski, a Steinway artist and director of the Polish Music Center of USC with an accompanying chamber group.
The event will include a VIP tasting of wines from the Back Roads Wineries of Paso Robles and Polish-themed appetizers provided by Cass Catering. A live auction of premium wine and tour packages will follow the concert.
Tickets are $75 per person and $45 for youth and seniors. Tickets are available at www.paderewskifest.com , at any participating Back Roads Winery, or by calling 227-2888.

Proceeds of the event will benefit the Paderewski Festival Cultural Exchange Program with Poland. Selected winners of the 2008 Youth Piano Competition have been invited to participate in a workshop and festival in Tarnow, Poland in June 2009.  The cities of Paso Robles and Tarnow signed a sister city agreement in November 2008 to explore cultural and business opportunities.

The Backroads Wineries consist of 20 boutique wineries located between Paso Robles and Creston who  specialize in handcrafted wines. Pear Valley Winery is located at 4900 Union Road and is celebrating the opening of its stunningly beautiful new tasting room.
